On the initiative of its new company called « Transahélienne », Camair-Co will offer since August 01st 2019, 15 flights per week between the chief towns of the three northern regions following the rotation of Garoua-Maroua-Garoua and Garoua-Ngaoundéré-Garoua.
Fixed at 37 040 CFA francs (all taxes included) round trip, the services between these three regional capitals will be operated with MA60, Embraer 145LR and Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
In the same vein, the Cameroonian national carrier will make Garoua, the capital of the northern region, the new hub of its operations in the « Great North » of the country.
Camair-Co inaugurates its second operations center at Garoua International Airport, for daily connections between the three northern regions of Cameroon; to facilitate the mobility of populations in the « Far North. The inauguration ceremony of the Garoua Hub is scheduled for Friday, August 09, 2019.
As part of its regional redeployment strategy, Camair-Co recently reopened its lines to Ndjamena in Chad, Libreville in Gabon, and Bangui in the Central African Republic. This is thanks to the acquisition of a new aircraft, a Boeing 737-500. The company also plans to gradually revive its flights to Brazzaville, Cotonou, and Dakar.
